Godfather's Son Plays Glynn Academy |

Franc D'Ambrosio, who played Michael Corleone's opera singing son in the movie "Godfather III" and who is the longest runnning Phantom on Broadway in "Phantom of the Opera" performed his one man show at Glynn Academy last night, presented by the Brunswick Community Concert Association -- we knew Franc back in New York when he was an up and coming singer in the theater and were able to spend an hour with him before the show talking about the "old days" in NYC in another century: the 1980's -- it was a wonderful time hearing about his escapades as an international singer of great reknown and when we asked him how he got here to Brunswick he said he had been here before and that the Glynn Academy auditorium was acoustically a great place to perform -- he also told us about working with Ray Charles, who told him that when you're blind, every gig is Carnegie Hall and that's pretty much Franc's opinion too -- Thank you, Franc, for singing for us and please come back soon ....
